I'm a big apple fan and I m using apple for professional music recordings, as well as the iphone but when it comes to reading Kindle is definitively the way to go. The iPad is still very useless for professional uses in my oppinion. Its nice to have as a gadget in your free time. Saying the iPad is like it, isn't really a bad thing. The Kindle is decent for reading books and newspapers, that's about it though, it's really not in the same class as an iPad so they really shouldn't even be comparing them. The Kindle is just an ebook reader, the iPad is like a mini netback, you can check email, surf the web, use applications, music, movies, etc… it's not an ebook reader as much as a really cool netbook.
